Offering a voice to carers in Renfrewshire
Advocacy can assist carers in the following ways
Work with carers to find option and solutionsAttend meetings/reviews with the carerTake complaints forwardAdditional support needs/Education issuesHelp with housing issuesAccess social work servicesHelp write letters and make phone calls
An advocate can act as an extra voice for carers or can offer support to enable the carer to speak for themselves about their needs and wishes.

Any carer over the age of 18 and living in Renfrewshire can receive the service which is free of charge
