Influencing Services

This is a forum for carers who are caring for an adult with a mental health issue. This is an opportunity for carers to have a voice about Services within Mental Health Services in Renfrewshire. Carer issues are fed back to the Head of Community Mental Health Services.

This is a platform for carers who are caring for someone over the age of 65,to have their say about Older People Services within Renfrewshire. Some of the topics around discussion are Dementia Services, Homecare, Respite. Carer issues will be fed back to the Older People Joint Planning Performance Implementation Group within the Community Health Partnership.

This is a group that represents carers who are caring for someone with a Learning Disability. This group meets monthly and has representation from the Learning Disability Resource Team. Carers issues are fed back to the Learning Disability Joint Planning Performance Implementation Group within the Community Health Partnership. We are currently organizing a Forum in the summer of 2012 which will give carers an opportunity to raise any issues who currently do not attend the Group.
